Local youth bowler Courtney Lucas capped off a fantastic year by winning the Senior Girls National Gold Medal in Gatineau, Quebec this week. She rolled a 251.7 average over 22 games against bowlers from every province in Canada.

Youth Challenge Provincials - selected to Provincial Team.
NL Youth Challenge Team - won Bronze at Nationals - rolling a 245 average and selected to the Canadian Girls All Star Team.
She also captured the Senior Girls Provincial Singles title, and had the highest average in House League play. Courtney was coached by long time Youth Bowling advocate and coach, Jim Bulger.
