Mount Pearl Special Olympics is a regional division of Newfoundland and Labrador Special Olympics. Current registration of 150 athletes from Mount Pearl and surrounding communities.
What We Do
Mount Pearl Special Olympics offers sports and recreation programs for individuals with mental disabilities.
Eligibility
Registration is open to all persons with mental disabilities.
Current Programs
September-June: Swimming, Bowling, Floor Hockey, and Athletics, as well as Socials
Summer:Soccer and Bocce ball
Competitions
Our athletes have competed and won medals at the international, national, and provincial levels. Athletes have traveled to Austria, Halifax, Sudbury, Ottawa, and throughout the province.
